![]() The Technology Student Association’s mission “is to prepare our membership for the challenges of a dynamic world by promoting technological literacy, leadership, and problem solving, resulting in personal growth and opportunity. This year, the ceremony took place on April 26, 2023, at DiNolfo’s Banquets in Homer Glen. Robotics Club students from Lockport Township High School District 205 qualified for the Vex Robotics Illinois State Championship and secured their spot at. Associate Professor Josh Brown, Ph.D., IL-TSA postsecondary representative was in charge of this year’s Technology Day. Lockport Township High School and the Lockport Rotary Club take great pride and pleasure in announcing the 137 Class of 2023 Top Ten Percent Students. Schools do not have to hold official Technology Student Association (TSA) affiliation to compete at Technology Day. Paid intern repairing 500e chrome-books on whatever problems students may come in with also a videographer. Each competition is based on the Standards for Technological Literacy: Content for the Study of Technology, Common Core Mathematics Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards. Each competition has Level 1 (sixth to ninth grades) and Level 2 (10th to 12th grades) components. The 17th Annual Technology Day 2017 was held October 13 at Illinois State University.Įach year, the competitions are different in scope, but similar to what other students in academic areas such as mathematics and science compete in. ![]() It is a one-day series of STEM-based, simultaneous, hands-on competitive events, typically drawing between 300 to 400 middle and secondary students.
